To my Great-Uncle Phil: You always have the best stories. Always get us to laugh, and I enjoy those laughs so very much.

To my Great-Uncle André: The advice you give is priceless. Forever will I remember, "Change is good. Managed change" when you got your change back at that restaurant. It's sad to think we may not have any more family reunions. I hope to see you again soon.

To my Uncles Tom, Tony, & Michael: You have always been the perfect uncles - always goofing off with your nieces and nephews for as long as I can recall. And being close support within our family.

To Irving, my Papa: "The Ants Go Marching"... and so many other "traditions" we have. I love seeing you, and I'm glad I see you as much as I do. Your visits always brighten our spirits - and give us boundless laughter!

To Raymond, my Péère: There are few times when I am the oldest of anything, but I'm so glad to be your oldest granddaughter. I was so upset when you two moved from the old house, but I grew up and I know now that it's not the house - it's the grandparents who make it the place that it is. And you, my grandfather, help make it a wonderful place.

To my brother Kevin: I'm sure there's a Brother's Day or Sibling's Day, but you're one of those men who has brought me through so much. I hope you won't be a dad any time in the near future, but you have and will always been my big brother to whom I look when in need of a shoulder, a steady hand, or just some time to reminisce and have a good time.

To my father Paul: We've had our rough spots, but who doesn't? After almost two decades I think we're doing pretty well. I appreciate all you have and still do for this family. We'll both get older, but in so many ways I'll always be the little girl who begged her dad to speak in silly voices and read "Fox in Socks" as fast as he could... in silly voices.



Don't just take this day to appreciate the important men in your life. Remind them often what they mean to you.
